The work of a marine biologist studying orcas or killer whales requires travel from the West coast of America to inhospitable locations in Northerly latitudes such as Norway, well within the Arctic circle. To places of tranquillity, great natural beauty and landscapes unsullied by the activities of man. It is while on these marine safari that the photographer is able to capture images of marine wildlife and seascapes that few of us will ever have the privilege to witness for ourselves.
